The Mississippi Law Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts for consideration for publication. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to misslj@olemiss.edu.
Contributors are requested to submit articles in 12-point, double-spaced typeface. Citations should follow The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005). Please use footnotes rather than endnotes.
The Mississippi Law Journal is published quarterly. We do accept articles for consideration throughout the year. Because of the volume of manuscripts we receive and the limited space available in the Journal, however, we make the majority of our publication decisions for our annual volume by early fall. Should you have any questions regarding a submission, please contact the Editor-in-Chief at misslj@olemiss.edu.
Submissions to MISSing Sources
MISSing Sources will consider submissions on a rolling basis, starting in the summer of 2009. Responses to printed articles are typically two to four pages single-spaced. Short essays on a new topic are generally four to eight pages. University of Mississippi faculty, other law school faculty, and practitioners are all welcome to submit a work for consideration. Every selected piece will undergo a thorough editing process, resulting in a scholarly work that can then be cited in future sources.
For a list of recent printed articles or for more information, please contact Arthur Park,
Electronic Journal Editor, at ajpark@olemiss.edu or 662-701-8255. |
